Night of 1,000 Conversations Seeks Homeland Accountability

In the midst of expanding raids, a ballooning prison business, and massive violations of due process, it's time to stand up for the kind of country we want to live in!

The National Rights Working Group Campaign to Hold Homeland Security will launch Thursday, June 19th, as ICIRR and dozens of other groups around the country will conduct “The Night of 1,000 Conversations,” an evening of discussion, education and action about how Department of Homeland Security is undermining the civil liberties and human rights of people living in the United States.

Take Action: Join us for a fresh conversation, all-night vigil, and unique action in front of the Broadview, Illinois detention center. Download flyer, RSVP with Ana Guajardo, and invite your friends on facebook to join in the conversation! It is sure to be an unforgettable event. Organizers can download toolkit here
