New Jersey's Innovative Integration Panel

Marking a historic day for immigrant integration, Governor Corzine proclaimed, “For years New Jersey has been a gateway to America – a place of opportunity and new beginnings. Today we take an important step in creating a comprehensive statewide strategy for weaving immigrants into the economic, social and civic fabric of our communities and state.”

The Advisory Panel has 27 members, including eighteen public members appointed by the governor, two representatives of the African-American and Latino Legislative caucuses, and 7 commissioners representing the different departments within the state.
