Conservative Louisiana Senator David Vitter loves to lead the fight against "illegal immigration" with the kind of chest-thumping, rough, tough rhetoric we have come to expect from political cheap shot artists. He is the chair of the "U.S. Senate Border Security and Enforcement First Caucus," and as such is committed to: “continuing to make sure that the laws already on the books will be enforced." But Sen. Vitterhas a little "illegal" problem of his own. Seems that he was a client of the "D.C. Madam’s" escort service for fancy prostitutes.

Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) apologized last night after his telephone number appeared in the phone records of the woman dubbed the "D.C. Madam," making him the first member of Congress to become ensnared in the high-profile case.

What part of "illegal" does Vitter not understand? Should he not be prosecuted to make sure the laws against prostitution are fully enforced?
